Honestly, you just have to charge what you feel your time, materials and expertise are worth. If someone thinks that’s too much, then they just aren’t your target customer. That said, 1.5 hours of your time alone is worth at least $25. Taking that into consideration I would expect to pay at least $30-$40 for something like that. Also, with a strap attached these would make really cute bags. They’re the perfect size for a small crossbody bag. Maybe get a little sassy and put a fringe along the bottom. I’d gladly pay at least $50 for something like that.

If the machine wasn't set up properly you will have so many problems that is what happened to my industrial sewing machine, turned out the timing was out and I needed a technician to fix the problem.

My heart went out to you when the machine stopped. I’m so glad you guys at least got it operational. I know how it feels when on a time crunch and the machines don’t cooperate.

I made a daisy granny square bag with a strap and omg it took more effort than i thought. I literally learned how to make a granny square as i was making the bag and i didn't realize that making the strap would be the most annoying part. I still have to attach the strap :')

I’d say that considering time and resources you should probably sell them around $35 mark. I feel like that would be fair

Embroidery is a beast. I have been doing it since November as so much of it is knowing your machine and testing things out. It will only get better!

Half way through the vid here , the base model Ricoma I’ve heard is no good, please invest in a brother or baby lock model, ppl can fix those locally & easy to work with , trust me , I have a brother 6 needle & haven’t even changed the needles on it yet & I’ve had it for a whole year !! Every error from it was human error so far !!! So sorry you had to go through that

"do you think I charge too much for my crochet-" No. Never. You could charge me £300 and I'd still say no. It isn't my place to tell you the value of YOUR time, especially when it's a luxury art that has to be handmade.

LOL….an hour to crochet two granny squares…lmao..it only takes a few minutes to crochet two squares get real! 35$ nope….maybe 12 or 15 $….since you say the sewing is so fast. Also depends on how much you spend on zippers…things that were cheap are now expensive….thats my input from an avid crocheter
